Josh is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Psych NP).
He earned his Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Alaska Anchorage and began his nursing career in rural health settings across Alaska. He later completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Arizona State University and spent nearly a decade working in hospital environments.
Josh went on to earn his Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, from Frontier Nursing University. He is passionate about supporting individuals facing mental health challenges, approaching each patient with empathy and a commitment to collaborative care.
Josh’s philosophy is centered on meeting people where they are in their mental health journey and helping them move toward their goals. He emphasizes a holistic view of care, focusing on the whole person rather than just a diagnosis.
Outside of his professional life, Josh enjoys reading, knitting, wood carving, hiking, being outdoors, and spending time with his wife and their dog, Moose.
